SUPER FUN WEEK

Do you want to know why it is a super fun week? Of corse you do! Well, last night, we went to the PEM because our project was being presented! plus, some teacher there got some type of award. she was the art teacher at Bently school. There was a 1st grader that wrote a list about the top 5 things he learned at the measum. One of them was the tech guy didn't even know what all the buttons in the control panel did. Another one was that if you look at the paintings long an enough, you'll learn more about it.
The people at the measum let us explore everything, like the Ying Yu Tang house, The kids at the Witchcraftt Heights did some type of doncumentary about Alaska.Autumn, Amanda Eddy and Caylee did a skit in the auditorium in front of everybody. The skit was about the tea act and the stamp act. we had a lot of fun at the measum.
Tonight for homework, we have a Social Studies paper, and bring in props for the play.

Super short week

On Monday we had no school because it was Memorial Day. On Tuesday we came back to school and Ms.Medler said we were going to start writing skits for the end of the school year but really its going to be next week so we have to start practicing our skits that we are performing.... At gym we are doing relay racing and it is really fun. Today in gym I am going to play a game called pumpkinball. Today we are doing FLES in class. Sometimes if we are quiet we get to play FLESbingo. At the end of the year we get FIELD DAY. On FIELD DAY classes get to go on the moonbounce and they're a lot of fun.Tonight for homework we have social studies quetions, study link 11.2 and practice skits................

Thanks to our webmasters, Mackenzie and Shanyce!

Frazzled Ms. Medler

This is a picture of how I feel today! The end of the year is always a little hectic. :)

I was very proud of the work you all accomplished today. You spent a solid hour working on your skits, and I have to say, almost every single person was focused and productive! THANK YOU for being so good!

Today you got an invitation to the exhibition at the PEM for next week. Please remember to bring back your RSVP form by Friday. We need to give this information to our PEM contact so she can plan. I think it will be a very fun night.

Tomorrow is our LAST MCAS test! It is supposed to be a warm day, but hopefully the room will stay cool for the morning.

Have a good afternoon! You do not have homework tonight. You're welcome.
Love, Ms. Medler

Two down, two to go

You have successfully made it through the math part of the MCAS! Congratulations! Next week we will have the 2 science tests, and then we'll be done!

We had a big talk about classroom behavior and respect yesterday. Today was an improvement, and I expect things to continue to improve. I am happy to say that some kids in our class earned a respect bonus today. I appreciate when I see you folks doing the right things. :)

We added fish and snails to the aquarium parts of our ecosystems this week and they have been fun to watch! Some of the fish had babies. They're really cute! Next we will be adding crickets and isopods to the terrarium. Yay!

Hope you all get some good rest tonight. See you tomorrow! DO YOUR HOMEWORK! (Study Link 10.8)

Just saying hello!

Hello everyone!

We haven't had a new post in awhile, so I thought I'd post some news.

As you know, MCAS is again coming up. Next week we will have 2 days of math, starting on Monday. This week we will do a lot of reviewing and will continue to talk about test taking strategies. In the meantime, we will continue to carry on with everything else we are doing!

This Friday we are going to the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum in Boston. It looks like the weather is going to be beautiful, so I'm pretty excited! We will be eating our snack at the Public Garden and then having lunch on a little patch of grass near the museum. It's usually a very nice time.

Don't forget that we will be having our Holes vocabulary test on Thursday instead of Friday. Study your words!!

See you all tomorrow!
:) Ms. Medler
