Pajama Day!

*************

Today in class we are all doing auction. The people who are doing auction are seven people today. Today the Fifth and Fourth graders had Pajama Day (We love Pajama Day). In math we did fractions. The fractions were kind of hard and easy. For homework we have to do the Moon Log, research the planet that we chose, and then a Study Link 6.8.

There is no school tomorrow or Monday. Have a good long weekend!

I'm so proud of you two for already beginning your research!

If you find conflicting information, (like how many moons,) use the source that is the most recent. Science moves very quickly! They make new discoveries all the time! According to nasa.gov, there are 25 moons (called "satellites" on many sites) and several smaller ones. So the number 31 is probably the more accurate one.

Jaylene, instead of googling "revolution" try going to NASA.gov or kidsastronomy.com. Thos sites might be more helpful.

Let me know if you have any more questions!
